From my experience in the forex and CFD space, the ability to trade specific commodities like Gold (XAU/USD) and Crude Oil depends entirely on a broker's product offering and transparency about their tradable instruments. With Renaissance Capital, I have not found clear, accessible evidence directly confirming that trading in XAU/USD or Crude Oil is available to retail investors. Their business is described as covering broad areas such as investment banking, global markets, and brokerage, but those are general categories often cited by investment firms and don't guarantee specific asset support for individual traders. What makes me especially cautious is the context of multiple negative reviews and significant user concerns about withdrawn access and alleged prior scams associated with associated entities. Such a risk environment makes me highly hesitant to assume that even if Gold or Oil were officially listed, execution, order reliability, and, most importantly, access to withdrawals might be compromised. In my view, unless the firm can provide up-to-date, unambiguous documentation (such as a public trading platform instrument list, platform demo, or product schedule) regarding commodities access—and unless their operational trustworthiness is verifiably established—I would not be comfortable using them for Gold or Oil trading. Given the lack of outright asset information and prevailing regulatory and user-trust red flags, I simply would not risk capital on Renaissance Capital with the goal of trading these commodities. For me, robust disclosure and a solid track record are essential to safely access instruments like XAU/USD and Crude Oil.
