From my experience as a trader, I always pay careful attention to the specific markets a platform actually supports, as misinterpretations here can have real consequences. After close examination of available details, TorFX is fundamentally a currency transfer service rather than a conventional trading broker. While it is regulated in Australia and offers robust solutions for personal and business money transfers—such as international payments, forward contracts, and currency risk management—it does not provide access to trading financial instruments like commodities. What really matters for me is clarity about market access. TorFX’s services center strictly around fiat currency exchange, without support for trading gold (XAU/USD), crude oil, or other commodities, nor do they offer products like contracts for difference or spot instruments typically found with multi-asset brokers. This is significant, as many traders may expect such instruments to be available on any entity labeled as a “broker”—but in this case, TorFX’s business model does not cater to speculative trading or investment activity in commodities. In summary, based on my understanding and due diligence, TorFX is not an option if you intend to trade gold, crude oil, or similar commodities. Anyone pursuing such trading strategies would need to look toward brokers specifically geared for multi-asset or CFD trading, always giving priority to transparent, regulated environments. I remain cautious about making any assumptions when choosing a provider, particularly in the forex and commodities space.
