Based on my hands-on exploration with CMF, I found that they do not offer the widely-used MT4, MT5, or cTrader platforms. Instead, CMF focuses on several proprietary and localized trading solutions tailored to the Chinese futures market. My experience led me to test the Bo Yi Master Cloud Trading Edition, Fast New Generation V3, and mobile apps such as the China Merchants Bo Yi App, E-Star App, and Flush Futures App, which are available for both Android and iOS devices. From a practical standpoint, these platforms are designed specifically for futures trading and integrate well with the domestic financial environment. I noticed that while the layout and functionalities serve futures traders efficiently, international traders who are accustomed to the flexibility and ecosystem of MT4 or MT5 will need to adapt to a distinct workflow and different analytical tools. The absence of MT4/MT5 could be a notable adjustment for anyone whose strategies or automated trading rely on those platforms. For me, this meant reevaluating my usual methods and becoming familiar with a new interface, but I appreciated the robust connectivity and compliance focus that these platforms offered within China’s regulatory framework. Nonetheless, if platform preference is a key determinant in your trading approach, it’s important to recognize this limitation before considering CMF.
