From my personal experience and thorough research, using Expert Advisors (EAs) for automated trading on KKJSEC’s platforms does not appear feasible. The core trading platform provided by KKJSEC is ODIN, a system commonly utilized in Indian equity and derivatives markets. Unlike popular global forex platforms such as MetaTrader 4 (MT4) or MetaTrader 5 (MT5), ODIN is not natively designed to support the use of EAs, which rely on platform integration for scripting and automation. For me, automated trading with EAs has always required a platform that supports custom coding, backtesting, and the kind of robust third-party development MT4 or similar platforms offer. However, KKJSEC’s setup centers around ODIN and a back-office solution (COMTEK) and does not mention any compatibility or API access for automation purposes. The absence of these advanced features is a significant limitation if you are looking for algorithmic trading or systematic strategies. I also want to highlight that KKJSEC is not regulated by any recognized authority, such as SEBI in India. For me, this heightens the risk, especially for those considering deploying automated systems, given the lack of recourse or regulatory oversight if technical or operational issues arise. In my view, for traders like myself who rely on EAs, platforms with established regulatory standing and explicit support for automation are the more prudent choice. In this case, KKJSEC simply does not meet those criteria.
