However, it’s necessary to clarify expectations: the presence of gold and commodities in their strategy does not mean that individual traders like myself can directly trade spot gold (such as XAU/USD pairs) or crude oil through their platform as one would with a standard forex/CFD broker. Instead, exposure to these assets would likely come via collective investment schemes, managed accounts, or funds that hold positions in commodities or commodity-linked securities. In my opinion, for those seeking real-time leveraged trading in assets like gold and crude oil, Nomura Asset Management may not be the ideal fit. For investors comfortable with portfolio-based exposure to commodities as part of a larger allocation, Nomura’s multi-asset solutions could be appropriate, but direct speculative trading options appear limited based on all information I’ve reviewed.
