From my careful review of MITO’s available information and platform specifics, I have not found any indication that cryptocurrency deposits—including Bitcoin or USDT—are supported for account funding. My due diligence as a trader always starts with assessing deposit and withdrawal methods, and, in this case, MITO makes clear that deposits are handled chiefly through traditional currency transfers. I noticed that for foreign currency transactions, the associated fees are borne by the customer, and there are clear guidelines regarding remittance when using their proprietary platform “Mito Net,” but no mention whatsoever of crypto-funding options. Given MITO’s regulatory framework under Japan’s Financial Services Agency, the absence of cryptocurrency funding does not surprise me—a number of Japanese brokers tend to adhere closely to conventional banking methods as mandated by local law and compliance requirements. For traders like myself who value transparent, regulator-approved deposit processes, this provides additional peace of mind; however, it also means that those seeking modern solutions such as Bitcoin or USDT for funding will need to consider other brokers if that’s essential to their strategy. Based on my research and experience, I would not expect MITO to accept crypto deposits at this time, and I would exercise caution with any third-party service claiming otherwise.
