In my experience exploring GFX Securities, I found the situation around automated trading with Expert Advisors (EAs) quite troubling. Although references to “SupportedEA” appear in their account descriptions, in practical terms, GFX Securities does not support the commonly used MetaTrader 4 or MetaTrader 5 platforms, which are the primary environments where most EAs operate. Instead, GFX Securities offers their own proprietary mobile trading application. As a seasoned trader, I know that custom apps rarely allow for the seamless integration and full functionality of third-party EAs available on MT4 or MT5. This is a significant limitation. For me, successful EA deployment demands transparent, industry-standard infrastructure because most EAs are designed, tested, and optimized on established platforms like MetaTrader. The absence of MT4/MT5 compatibility raises a red flag not only for practical EA use, but also makes it difficult to backtest or automate strategies reliably. Additionally, with GFX Securities being registered offshore and currently unregulated, I find it even more important to stick to platforms where I have maximum control and transparency—which isn't possible here. For traders who heavily rely on EAs, I personally would not consider GFX Securities a suitable choice.
