From my experience as a trader who values both transparency and regulatory clarity, I have taken a very cautious approach when evaluating ABX. While their platform—MetalDesk—focuses on physical precious metals like gold, silver, and platinum, there is no clear indication or direct mention that ABX accepts cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin or USDT for deposits. The information available primarily highlights ABX’s role as a global exchange for allocated precious metals, but it does not provide specific details about available payment methods, particularly regarding crypto payments. An important consideration for me is the broker’s regulatory standing. ABX is not regulated by ASIC or any other recognized regulatory body, and WikiFX flags their regulatory claims as suspicious. This, in itself, is a significant red flag and influences any decisions I would make about funding an account—let alone using relatively irreversible cryptocurrency transfers. In my view, when a broker lacks proper oversight, extra caution is absolutely warranted, especially before sending funds via methods like crypto which may be difficult to trace or recover. Ultimately, I have not seen firm evidence supporting the possibility of depositing with Bitcoin, USDT, or similar assets at ABX. For my own financial safety, I would always require explicit, up-to-date confirmation from official company sources and, given the regulatory concerns, I would avoid transferring funds using any method until all uncertainties are resolved.
