In my experience as a trader, assessing PAXOS raises multiple concerns that fundamentally influence my view on what assets can be securely traded using their platform. PAXOS, while established for over five years and registered in the United States, is not licensed or regulated by any well-recognized financial authorities. This lack of regulatory oversight is not a trivial issue—it directly impacts both trader security and the reliability of offered markets. From the available information, PAXOS provides services mainly around digital asset infrastructure: crypto brokerage, wallet and trading technology, stablecoin issuance, and cross-border payments. Nowhere in their disclosed offerings do I see clear support for conventional commodities like Gold (XAU/USD) or Crude Oil. In fact, there is no transparent evidence that PAXOS even lists these instruments for trading. Instead, the infrastructure appears centered on stablecoins and crypto-related transactions, largely directed at institutional clients via APIs. Equally important, I noticed consistent complaints about fund withdrawals and accusations of scams from user reports. Combined with a total absence of regulation and persistent regulatory warnings, I would not feel comfortable entrusting any significant capital to trade traditional commodities here. As someone who values both asset variety and operational trust, I must stress the importance of regulated brokers when seeking access to products such as Gold or Crude Oil. Based on my research and caution developed through years of active trading, I cannot recommend PAXOS for trading these assets, and I personally would not use their platform for such purposes.
