As an experienced trader who places a high value on risk management and the ability to test platforms before committing capital, I always look closely for the availability of a free demo account. In my research and evaluation of Shikoku, I found that this broker does not offer a demo account of any kind. This is a significant consideration for me and, I believe, for many others—especially those who wish to become comfortable with a broker’s trading environment or test new strategies without putting real money at stake. From my perspective, the absence of a demo account means that new clients must proceed more cautiously. Without a risk-free environment to explore the web-based trading platform, assess order execution speed, or understand fee structures, beginners may feel at a disadvantage. I find this particularly important because the platform lacks support for MT4 or MT5, which are more universally familiar and allow for greater transition ease. Trading directly with live funds, especially on a platform with limited contact channels and a less intuitive website design, increases the need for diligence. For me, the lack of a demo account is not necessarily a dealbreaker, but it does mean that I would only approach Shikoku after thoroughly researching their fee schedule and perhaps starting with a minimum position size. It’s always better to err on the side of caution, especially when there is no safety net for practice.
