From my experience navigating brokers, fee transparency is absolutely critical—especially when it comes to deposits and withdrawals. With PAXOS, I found it particularly concerning that information about their fees is not clearly disclosed. According to what is officially stated, depositing or withdrawing stablecoins on PAXOS only incurs network (gas) fees, which are determined by the specific blockchain in use. These network charges are standard in the crypto industry and not set by the broker, but by the blockchain itself. However, for fiat conversion—such as withdrawing USD—there is no clarity at all on what charges might be applied, as PAXOS does not specify any details and admits the cost varies depending on your bank or payment rails. In my opinion, this lack of transparency is a warning sign. In the forex and crypto markets, knowing exactly what you will be charged ahead of time is fundamental to both risk management and trust. If I’m unable to verify such basic and critical information, I would be extremely hesitant to initiate any real-money transactions. As a trader who values clarity, I find it very difficult to be comfortable with the uncertainty PAXOS presents regarding their deposit and withdrawal structure. For me, unless a broker provides unambiguous, upfront details about all possible fees, I view it as an unnecessary risk to my capital.
