Unlike conventional forex or CFD platforms, Point72 primarily serves professional and institutional investors and focuses on discretionary equity, macro, and systematic strategies under strict regulatory oversight by the SFC in Hong Kong. For someone like me who is used to transparent, readily published cost structures, the lack of explicit fee information or minimum deposit details adds an element of uncertainty and makes direct cost comparisons challenging. Furthermore, their model does not cater to the average retail trader, and access appears limited to qualified institutional participants. This lack of direct access and specificity on cost reinforces the need for caution and for personally clarifying all fee-related terms with the firm before considering engagement.
