As an experienced trader, I want to clarify that based on the official information available about CommSec, forex trading—including direct trading of currency pairs like EUR/USD—is not offered as part of their service suite. My due diligence shows that CommSec is primarily focused on shares, options, and ETFs, with no mention of forex pairs being supported. The core platforms—CommSec Web and CommSec Mobile—are tailored toward equity and derivative trading, not forex. When I look for a broker, especially for something as liquid and sensitive to spread as EUR/USD, I always verify that the broker explicitly provides forex as a tradable instrument and discloses spread details transparently. With CommSec, there simply isn’t any published data about forex spreads. Their documented fee structure covers equities, options, and a few niche investment products but entirely omits FX trading. This absence of forex offerings should be taken seriously, especially for those relying on spreads as a key criterion. Personally, I don’t risk funds with any broker lacking clear information on the products I wish to trade. For EUR/USD spreads, I would seek a broker that clearly lists forex products and provides typical spread ranges directly on their website or trading platform.
