This omission makes it difficult for me—and, I believe, for any serious trader—to confidently compare Point72’s overnight financing costs with those at other brokers who typically list these details upfront. My own trading decisions rely heavily on understanding fee structures because hidden or opaque charges can significantly erode profits, especially with positions held overnight. Most reputable forex brokers present their swap rates or overnight fees transparently, allowing me to gauge total trading costs and avoid unexpected surprises. Because Point72 appears to primarily serve professional investors and engages in more complex strategies—such as discretionary and systematic global macro investments—the lack of explicit swap fee information might reflect their onboarding process or client base rather than standard retail transparency. In any case, without swap information publicly available, I personally would be extremely cautious. For my style of trading, the risks associated with unknown financing costs mean I would hesitate to commit any capital without obtaining clear, written clarification from the broker beforehand.
