Can a VPS be used to run automated trading with Expert Advisors (EAs) on its platforms?

Based on my thorough experience as an independent forex trader who regularly investigates brokers before committing my funds, I approach platforms like VPS with a high degree of caution—especially when considering automated trading with Expert Advisors (EAs). VPS offers its own proprietary trading platforms: SmartOne, SmartPRO, and SmartEasy. From my research and direct interactions with trading technologies, I found no indication that these platforms support MetaTrader 4 (MT4) or MetaTrader 5 (MT5)—the widely-accepted standards required to run EAs seamlessly. The absence of MT4/MT5 compatibility is a material consideration for me. The reason is clear: most reliable EAs are designed specifically for these platforms, due to their powerful scripting environments and robust automation features. Without support for MT4/MT5, deploying any off-the-shelf EAs or developing custom algorithmic strategies becomes, in practice, impossible or severely limited on VPS’s platforms. Furthermore, the broker is not regulated by any financial authority, which heightens my concern about risk management and client protection when experimenting with automation. In summary, my understanding is that VPS’s current offerings do not provide the necessary infrastructure for automated trading with EAs. This is a major deterrent for me, as automation forms a critical part of my trading approach. I would only consider brokers with clear regulatory standing and explicit support for industry-standard platforms if algorithmic trading is important to my strategy.
