After carefully reviewing everything available about GEX, I could not find any clear details regarding whether they offer fixed or variable spreads—and as an experienced trader, the absence of this information is a major red flag for me. In my view, reputable brokers usually display their pricing models and explain how spreads are handled, especially during times of high volatility or news events. This sort of information is crucial for planning trading costs and managing risk, so not having it undermines my trust and confidence. Even if GEX did specify fixed or variable spreads, I remain highly cautious because the company currently operates without any formal regulation. Brokers without oversight are less likely to adhere to industry best practices around spread transparency and client protection. In my experience, this means spreads could become highly unfavorable during volatile periods or major news releases, with no recourse for clients if abnormal pricing occurs. Without clear, accessible details from GEX on how spreads are structured or managed, especially during market turbulence, I personally would not be comfortable trading with them. Ensuring transparency and reliability around spreads is essential for safeguarding my capital and maintaining trust—qualities I simply didn’t find with GEX based on their public information.
