Even though their website suggests that withdrawals can be facilitated by wire transfer, e-wallets, and credit cards, nowhere in their official disclosures is there a clear, standardized list of required documents for withdrawals. In my own risk assessment, this opacity is a red flag, as with regulated brokers, providing verified identification—such as a government-issued ID, proof of address, and, for e-wallets or bank transactions, account ownership verification—is standard practice aimed at protecting both the client and the brokerage from fraud and money laundering. Since IQ Option is unregulated, there is no guarantee that submitting conventional KYC (Know Your Customer) documents will be sufficient, honored, or protect your funds. Without regulatory safeguards or effective support channels, even if you provide standard documents like ID and proof of address, your withdrawal request might not be processed reliably. I have also noticed from user reports that some have experienced issues with unfulfilled withdrawals, which further increases my caution. In these circumstances, I would proceed with extreme care: only fund with what I’m prepared to lose and avoid holding sizable balances with the broker.
