What stands out immediately for me is that Freedom24, while regulated by CYSEC and operating for over a decade, does not provide specific, standardized disclosures regarding spreads, commissions, or overnight fees for index trading. This differs from some brokers that publish exact costs or have integrated their indices into widely recognized MT4/MT5 platforms with public fee schedules. Freedom24 relies on a proprietary web and mobile platform, so cost structures may not mirror those seen on MetaTrader. Instead, Freedom24 claims spreads as low as 0 pips for some instruments, but without concrete numbers or a fee table for indices, I find it difficult to forecast actual trade costs in advance. Additionally, the absence of detailed information on minimum deposits, withdrawal fees, or hidden charges introduces uncertainty. While CYSEC regulation gives some assurance, the “high potential risk” notation and lack of cost transparency make me extra cautious. In summary, before trading indices such as the US100 with Freedom24, I would reach out to their support directly to obtain a full fee breakdown in writing. For me, absolute fee clarity is essential in protecting my capital and avoiding unexpected costs.
