As someone who prioritizes regulatory oversight and transparency, I always look for explicit details regarding account types and specific accommodations—especially something as critical as swap-free (Islamic) compliance. T&D is regulated in Japan by the Financial Services Agency, which generally enforces stringent business practices, and the broker appears to focus on investment management services such as AXIA (Value), SOPHIA (Core-Growth), and an ESG Strategy. However, I did not see any references to retail forex account offerings that cater to Islamic finance principles or any dedicated section for Sharia-compliant products. For me, the absence of clear, official information about Islamic accounts is a significant limitation if you require this feature for religious reasons. I urge anyone in need of swap-free trading to contact T&D’s support directly before considering them as a brokerage partner. In my experience as a trader, relying on assumptions can lead to unexpected outcomes, and I prefer only to engage with firms that publish all their account types and terms up front. While T&D’s long-standing regulation is partly reassuring, the lack of definitive details here means I would proceed very cautiously if an Islamic account is a requirement.
