In my personal experience evaluating brokers, transparent and detailed information about spreads is essential, especially given how critical they are to trading costs and risk management. Unfortunately, based on my research into MEKSA, I wasn’t able to independently verify whether they offer fixed or variable spreads, as they do not publicly disclose this information. This is a notable concern for me, as spread type directly affects how positions perform during volatile market conditions, such as major news releases. From what I could gather, MEKSA positions itself as a broker with several years of operation and a variety of trading services. Still, the lack of a clear, regulated framework—combined with a low trust score and insufficient transparency regarding key trading conditions—raises some red flags for me. In my professional experience, when a broker doesn't openly specify whether their spreads are fixed or variable, I generally err on the side of caution and assume spreads may widen significantly during periods of high volatility. As for behavior during major news events, my broader market experience tells me that with most unregulated or less transparent brokers, spreads—regardless of being labeled fixed or variable—can widen unexpectedly. This increases slippage risk and execution uncertainty. Without concrete information from MEKSA, and based on my risk-averse approach to capital, I am hesitant to commit funds without full clarity on spread structure, especially under high-stress market conditions. I advise any potential trader to demand explicit answers from the broker and proceed only if comfortable with the risks entailed.
