As an independent forex trader with years of experience, the first thing I always seek when considering a broker is transparency—especially regarding regulations and trading conditions like spreads. In the case of RICO, I have carefully reviewed all available data, yet I could not find any specific or verifiable information about the typical spread for EUR/USD on their standard account. This lack of openly published spread details is concerning for me, as knowing the cost of trading is crucial for risk management and accurate profit calculation in forex. Additionally, RICO operates without any recognized financial regulatory oversight, and WikiFX flags its license as suspicious, classifying it with a high potential risk. For me, this absence of regulation amplifies caution when evaluating any trading conditions they might advertise elsewhere. Even though RICO supports several advanced trading platforms, including MetaTrader 5, and offers a range of account types, these positives do not compensate for the opacity surrounding critical cost metrics like spreads. When a broker does not publish such fundamental information, and their regulatory status is questionable, I find it difficult to objectively assess their competitiveness or trust their offering. For anyone considering RICO, I would personally proceed with extreme caution. It’s always safer, in my view, to work with brokers who publicly disclose all trading costs and are regulated by reputable authorities.
