As an experienced trader, I approach any potential broker with caution, especially when it comes to essential details like spreads. In the case of Robinhood, the first thing I notice from my research is the lack of transparent information regarding spreads on major forex pairs such as EUR/USD. In fact, based on what’s officially available, Robinhood does not appear to offer spot forex trading at all—its focus is on products like cryptocurrencies, options, and certain equities rather than traditional forex pairs. For me, spreads are a pivotal factor in day-to-day trading costs, and any reputable broker should clearly disclose typical spreads for popular pairs. However, with Robinhood, not only is this information absent, but the overall regulatory situation is concerning; the broker operates without any recognized license, which for me raises immediate red flags about investor protection, transparency, and reliability. When a broker lacks both regulatory oversight and transparency about basic trading conditions like spreads, I personally would not proceed further. Instead, I’d look for a broker where key metrics—including spreads on liquid pairs like EUR/USD—are made explicit, and where meaningful regulation supports trader security. As always, diligence is key before committing funds or trust.
