This process means there aren’t instant withdrawal options, as all withdrawals are subject to bank processing times. In my case, withdrawals usually took two to four working days to complete, which matches the official guidance. It’s important to note that only uninvested cash can be withdrawn; funds tied up in positions can’t be withdrawn until those assets are liquidated. The absence of e-wallets, debit cards, or similar instant methods may be inconvenient, especially if you need fast access to your funds. Personally, I always factor in this expected delay when planning my trades or considering closing out cash positions. As a trader who relies on timely access to capital, I find it prudent to keep these timelines in mind and ensure they fit your own risk management and liquidity needs. For anyone thinking about joining DEGIRO, my experience suggests it is better suited to traders and investors who don’t require instant access to cash, and who are comfortable with more traditional and somewhat slower banking processes for moving funds.
