As an experienced trader, I place personal emphasis on both the regulatory standing and product transparency of a broker before committing funds or executing trades. When reviewing Monex Europe, one of my foremost concerns is the lack of current, reputable regulation—their FCA UK license has been revoked, which immediately raises serious caution for any type of trading activity, especially with high-risk instruments like Gold (XAU/USD) or Crude Oil. In my experience, a revoked license means there are no oversight mechanisms in place to safeguard client interests. Evaluating their offering further, Monex Europe appears to primarily target corporate clients with spot FX, forwards, FX derivatives, and payment services, all across more than 60 currencies. However, there's a lack of explicit mention of access to trading physical commodities or their corresponding CFDs—particularly Gold or Crude Oil—on their listed platforms. While user feedback referenced gold transactions, my understanding is this reflects more on payment or hedging activity for businesses rather than availability of retail trading pairs like XAU/USD or WTI/Brent crude oil contracts. For someone like me, seeking reliable and transparent access to those asset classes, the absence of clear product information and the loss of regulatory oversight present too great a risk. Based on this, I would not recommend Monex Europe for trading Gold, Crude Oil, or similar assets.
