In my own experience navigating Japanese brokers, FFG Securities' approach to deposits and withdrawals is notably conservative and quite traditional compared to many global online platforms. According to their published information, funding and withdrawals are strictly handled through bank transfers. For face-to-face or hybrid customers, there are no fees charged by FFG Securities for deposits or withdrawals; however, if you are an online-only client, you bear your own deposit transfer fee. This means instant transfers are possible if you use a linked Fukuoka Bank account, but in other cases, processing could take until the next business day. Importantly, I did not find any mention of support for credit or debit cards, PayPal, Skrill, cryptocurrencies, or other e-wallet solutions. This reliance on direct bank transfer is common among established Japanese brokers and often reflects local regulatory and compliance norms, emphasizing risk control and traceability. In my opinion, this setup may feel cumbersome for traders used to the speed and flexibility of modern digital payment methods. It certainly impacts convenience, especially if you expect to move funds rapidly or from international accounts. For those who prioritize security and regulation over payment variety, this may be a reasonable tradeoff; for others, it could be a deciding factor in their broker choice.
