As a trader who values strong risk management, it's important for me to have a clear understanding of trading conditions—spreads, above all. With XP Investimentos, however, I've found that there just isn't enough transparency regarding the typical EUR/USD spread for standard accounts. While the platform offers access to MetaTrader 5 and a range of asset classes, I haven't seen any published information about their forex trading spreads, either on their site or in official documentation. This lack of disclosure immediately raises a caution flag for me, especially when I consider that XP Investimentos is currently unregulated and has a “high potential risk” warning. In my experience, established and trustworthy brokers tend to display their spread data very clearly, which helps traders make well-informed decisions. The fact that XP Investimentos doesn’t share this key metric makes it difficult to fully assess the trading costs associated with their standard account. For someone as cautious as I am, especially in the forex market, this lack of clarity is a significant drawback. It’s one reason I believe traders should proceed carefully and possibly look for alternative brokers that are both regulated and transparent about their pricing structure.
