In my experience researching and evaluating Consilium, I found that a free demo account is not available with this broker. This stood out to me because, as an independent trader, access to demo accounts is a vital tool for testing platforms and strategies without risking real funds. The absence of this feature with Consilium makes it difficult to assess their actual trading conditions, user interface, and product suitability before committing capital. Moreover, the available information on Consilium’s offering is notably limited. While the broker is based in South Africa and claims a long operating history with FSCA regulation, the scope of available trading products is quite specific—focused on unit trusts, structured products, funds, and shares. Forex, commodities, and other common instruments are notably absent. The lack of transparency surrounding demo access raises concerns for me, especially as it limits my ability to objectively compare Consilium to other brokers or to advise beginners who may require a risk-free way to gain familiarity with a platform. The cautious route, in my view, would be to approach Consilium carefully and only proceed after thorough due diligence, especially considering the lack of a demo account to test their services directly.
