Based on my careful research and my own approach to broker selection, I have significant concerns about the lack of transparency at Abbott Futures when it comes to trading features. The information currently available does not specify which trading platforms they offer—there’s no mention of MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, or other platforms commonly associated with the use of Expert Advisors (EAs) for automated trading. In my experience, a broker’s openness about platform support and EA compatibility is essential for anyone—myself included—who relies on algorithmic or automated trading strategies. Moreover, Abbott Futures primarily provides access to global commodities rather than forex or CFDs, and even then, the scope of their offerings is not clearly detailed. The broker operates under a suspicious clone license from the NFA, and I did not find any official confirmation regarding the availability or rules for the use of EAs. In situations like this, I always default to caution: I cannot assume EA support in the absence of explicit documentation. In my judgment, this lack of clarity, together with regulatory red flags and no demo account option for platform testing, makes Abbott Futures unsuitable for my own automated trading needs and raises serious concerns for others considering EA strategies.
