Reflecting on my own experience and thorough research, I found that PAXOS only offers a proprietary web-based platform—there is no support for industry-standard platforms like MT4, MT5, or cTrader. This limitation stood out to me right away, as these established platforms are preferred by many seasoned traders, including myself, due to their robust analytical tools, algorithmic trading capabilities, and extensive community resources. The absence of MT4, MT5, or cTrader means losing access to essential charting and automation features that I rely on for efficient and informed trading. Using a proprietary web interface places additional responsibility on the trader to adapt to unfamiliar technology, and it means that features such as expert advisors, custom indicators, and advanced order types may be missing or less reliable. Moreover, a lack of transparency about platform security and stability further adds to my concerns—especially considering the broader risks flagged regarding regulation and user reviews for PAXOS. For me, the absence of widely trusted platforms is a critical drawback and an important factor to consider when weighing the overall safety and compatibility of a broker for active or professional trading needs.
