As someone who researches brokers carefully before committing funds, one of my first concerns is understanding all potential costs, including inactivity fees. With Going Securities, I approached this by reviewing their available documentation and examining the details regarding their fee structure. At this time, I have not been able to locate clear or explicit information about inactivity fees associated with holding an account at Going Securities. The WikiFX source highlights that the broker's fee structure is described as "unclear," which in my experience often means that some charges—such as inactivity fees—could exist but are not prominently disclosed on their public materials. Given that Going Securities is regulated by the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) of Hong Kong, I would expect a certain level of transparency and client protection; however, regulatory oversight does not automatically guarantee that all fees are well-communicated without the client’s initiative to inquire. From my perspective, the lack of transparency itself signals the need for extra caution. If considering opening an account, I would directly contact their customer service—using the listed email or phone number—to request comprehensive information about any inactivity fees, including thresholds for account activity and possible monthly or annual charges if my account remains dormant. Ultimately, until I receive an official reply from Going Securities in writing, I assume there is at least a possibility of inactivity fees applying. In general, I strongly recommend never assuming the absence of fees simply because they’re not easily found in public documentation. Asking for these details from a verified representative is, in my view, the most prudent way to protect one’s trading capital and avoid unexpected costs.
