Drawing from my experience as an independent trader, I need to emphasize that Abbott Futures’ offering is extremely opaque when it comes to core trading conditions like spreads. Based on all the publicly available information, there is no disclosure about whether they offer fixed or variable spreads—or any specifics about their trading platform at all. For me, this lack of transparency is a major concern, especially since understanding spread behavior is vital for effective risk management. In reputable brokerage environments, variable spreads typically widen significantly during high-impact news events, reflecting volatility and decreased liquidity, while fixed spreads generally remain consistent but may still be subject to slippage or requotes in times of extreme volatility. However, because Abbott Futures does not provide any verified details about their spreads or execution, it is impossible to reliably assess how trading costs or conditions might change during volatile periods. The presence of a suspicious NFA license and a previous regulatory sanction only adds to my reservations. As someone who prioritizes transparent trading costs and verifiable regulation, I am very cautious here. When critical execution details are missing and regulatory red flags are present, I personally choose to avoid such brokers entirely, regardless of market experience or advertised advantages. I strongly advise others to seek brokers who clearly disclose all trading conditions so you can manage your risk with confidence.
