Based on my own experience researching and evaluating different brokers, I always place a high priority on clarity around platform compatibility and automated trading tools. In Hicend’s case, when I reviewed the details and platform lineup they offer, I couldn’t find any direct indication that popular international trading tools like MetaTrader 4 or 5 are supported. Hicend instead provides a range of proprietary and less globally familiar platforms—such as Fast Trading Terminal V2, Unlimited Easy Client, Esunny Client, and others—geared mainly toward futures, metals, energy, and chemicals, in keeping with their Chinese regulatory license. Because Expert Advisors (EAs) are primarily designed for MetaTrader platforms, and there’s no mention of MT4/MT5 support or a built-in scripting environment for automated trading strategies on any of Hicend’s listed platforms, I would approach this very cautiously. For me, the absence of explicit documentation about EAs or scripting makes it unlikely that automated trading via EAs is permitted or technically feasible on Hicend. Without a clear pathway for installation or operation of EAs, I see this as a significant limitation for traders seeking automation or custom algorithmic strategies. In my view, if EA functionality is non-negotiable for your trading approach, it’s important to verify with Hicend’s support directly or consider brokers that specifically advertise such compatibility. This helps ensure you don’t encounter unforeseen barriers after opening an account.
