As someone who has navigated the landscape of both proprietary and industry-standard trading platforms, I rely heavily on clear information about the use of Expert Advisors (EAs) for my own workflow. With Daman Securities, I noticed that they primarily offer their own trading platforms along with MT5, but do not support MT4 at all. MT5 generally supports EAs natively, yet—when it comes to Daman Securities—there is no explicit or transparent information regarding EA usage on their version of MT5 or their in-house platforms. Given my own cautious approach, I’m particularly sensitive to regulatory and operational transparency. Daman Securities is an unregulated broker, flagged for high risk and with several serious user complaints citing issues around withdrawals and lack of responsive customer support. For me, this lack of oversight and the reported operational issues would make me hesitant to entrust automated trading strategies—like EAs—that require reliable execution and uninterrupted access. In summary, while MT5 theoretically permits EAs, I have not found any specific assurances or technical documentation from Daman Securities that would give me confidence in using EAs safely and effectively with them. For my trading, this type of uncertainty and regulatory vacuum weighs heavily on my decision and I would urge others to exercise added caution.
