As someone who has spent considerable time evaluating various brokers, I approach any new platform with a focus on regulatory standing and fee transparency. With Hydro, I immediately noticed the lack of valid regulatory oversight, which is a substantial concern and influences how I interpret any offered details, including those related to fees. In my review process, a clear breakdown of commissions, spreads, and other trading costs is essential for managing risk and proper cost estimation. Unfortunately, with Hydro, I found their fee structure to be notably unclear. The information available does not provide direct figures or even an outline concerning trading spreads, commissions, or other transaction-related charges. This omission is worrisome for me, as unclear or undisclosed fees can increase the risk of unexpected costs when trading. While the company itself has a long-standing history in the aluminium and energy sector, it does not provide the standard transparency I expect from a trustworthy trading platform. Without regulatory oversight and with such a lack of fee information, I cannot confidently determine what trading with Hydro would truly cost. For me, this lack of clarity is a compelling reason to exercise extreme caution. Before considering any engagement, I would require explicit and detailed information on all aspects of their fee structure.
