In my experience researching WorldFirst and evaluating their offerings, I've found that their fee structure is quite different from what most forex traders—myself included—are used to seeing with standard ECN or raw spread accounts. WorldFirst is primarily tailored for business-to-business payment services, cross-border FX solutions, and multi-currency business accounts, not traditional retail forex trading. As such, the typical concept of per-lot commission charges on ECN or raw spread trading accounts doesn't really apply here. Instead, WorldFirst makes its money by charging transparent, capped percentage-based FX conversion fees on currency exchanges, as detailed in their public documentation. For major currency conversions, the maximum rate is generally up to 0.6%, and for minor currencies, it starts from 0.67%. There isn't a mention—or personal evidence I've encountered—of a fixed commission per lot as is standard with true ECN brokers. This is important because the mechanics and risks are quite different. From a risk-conscious perspective, I'd emphasize that if your priorities are institutional-level FX trading with a clear per-lot commission model, WorldFirst may not meet those requirements. For me, understanding exactly how fees are assessed is critical, and with WorldFirst, everything seems geared toward payments and currency conversion for business clients, rather than speculative trading. I would strongly advise fellow traders to confirm the suitability of WorldFirst for actual spot FX trading, as their structure does not match typical trading platforms that provide ECN or raw spread accounts with traditional commission schedules.
