From my perspective as an independent trader, the availability of MT4 or MT5 is one of the first things I assess if I’m interested in running Expert Advisors (EAs) for automated trading. After carefully reviewing Dhan’s current offerings, I noted that they do not support either MT4 or MT5, which are the industry-standard platforms for EAs. Instead, Dhan provides their own suite of platforms—including the Dhan App, Dhan Web, and integrations with TradingView—but none of these natively support the classic EA functionality that automated traders rely on. Furthermore, the broker has no mention of a demo account, which makes it very difficult to safely test any kind of automation, even if workarounds were available. Dhan is also operating without regulatory oversight, which, in my experience, raises additional concerns when considering deploying automation or complex strategies—since recourse in case of technical faults or disputes can be limited. For me, regulatory status is crucial when evaluating the potential risks involved with automated trading systems. In summary, Dhan’s platform is not suitable for traditional EA usage; traders expecting robust automation capabilities will likely be better served elsewhere, particularly with regulated brokers that offer MT4/MT5 and demo accounts. This caution is especially important for anyone considering automated solutions.
