In my experience exploring DBFS, it became quite clear that their platform offers a somewhat limited selection when it comes to trading instruments. I found that DBFS provides access to equities, bonds, mutual funds, futures, and options. For me, the absence of access to more popular instruments such as forex, commodities, indices, stocks from other regions, ETFs, or cryptocurrencies is a significant limitation—especially when compared to the broader offerings of other, more established brokers. This narrow product range restricts the flexibility I typically seek in portfolio diversification or cross-market strategies. It's important to note that, while some traders may welcome the available instruments—particularly if their focus is on equities or derivatives within India—the inability to access forex and commodities stands out for me as a considerable drawback, as these are core markets for my own active trading style. Given this scope, I urge anyone considering DBFS to evaluate whether these limited offerings align with their trading goals and risk tolerances. Without key asset classes like forex or crypto, my ability to act on global opportunities or hedge effectively would be hampered. For me, understanding these restrictions up front is essential to making an informed, prudent choice.
