Having reviewed YM Securities in depth, I must clarify that, in my experience and according to the most recent detailed information, trading indices like the US100 (often known as NASDAQ 100) is not available with this broker. YM Securities, despite its lengthy operational history and robust regulation by Japan’s Financial Services Agency, primarily focuses on traditional securities such as stocks, bonds, and investment trusts. At the time of my research, there is no indication that indices, ETFs, or similar derivative products are on their available product list. When I consider total trading costs, I always analyze commissions, spreads, and associated fees for a given product. However, because YM Securities does not support index trading, including the US100, it’s impossible to calculate such costs for those instruments with this firm. Instead, their fee structure is geared towards equities and bonds, and the minimum commission for domestic stock trades starts at 2,750 JPY, with tiered rates thereafter. For traders like myself who rely on transparent access to global indices, YM Securities simply doesn’t provide the requisite instruments or cost breakdowns. For index-focused trading, I would need to look elsewhere, ideally at brokers that explicitly offer CFD or ETF access to instruments like the US100, fully aware of all their regulatory and fee implications.
