In my personal experience evaluating brokers, transparency about spreads—whether fixed or variable—and how they respond during volatile market events is a fundamental sign of professionalism and client protection. However, when I reviewed SOCIETE GENERALE’s publicly available information, I could not find any clear details about their spread types or how these spreads behave in high volatility scenarios, such as major news releases. For someone like me who places high importance on predictable trading costs, this lack of disclosure is concerning. Reliable brokers usually specify if they offer fixed or variable spreads, together with a typical spread range and what clients can expect during periods of market stress. The absence of this basic operational information, combined with the broker's lack of verified regulatory oversight, significantly limits my confidence in their service. In my judgment, trading with a broker that doesn't openly state its fee structure—especially one not under recognized regulation—carries unnecessary risks. Without clarity on spreads during news events, I cannot accurately assess trading conditions or potential costs, both of which are crucial for responsible trading decisions. For me, until SOCIETE GENERALE provides greater transparency, I am unable to recommend their service on this point.
