Based on my close analysis of Neomarkets’ offering, it does not appear possible to trade Gold (XAU/USD), Crude Oil, or other commodities on their platform. My careful review of their tradable instruments confirms that they focus primarily on stocks, ETFs, derivatives, eurobonds, and CFDs—none of which are specifically described as precious metals, energy commodities, or forex pairs. As someone who values diversity in tradable assets, this is a significant limitation for my own trading strategy, especially since I frequently seek exposure to commodities like gold and oil for diversification and macro-themed setups. Moreover, from an expertise standpoint, their proprietary platform does not support MT4/MT5, which are often preferred for trading commodities due to their range and flexibility. The absence of regulatory oversight is another concern for me, as it raises questions about transparency and client protection, particularly for high-risk or volatile instruments like gold and oil. In summary, from what I gather, Neomarkets is not suitable for those—like myself—looking to specifically trade gold, crude oil, or other commodities. This limitation, combined with its unregulated status, makes me approach this broker with extra caution and look elsewhere if my strategy calls for commodity trading.
