Based on my review of LME’s offerings, they do not provide forex, indices, stocks, commodities beyond metals, or cryptocurrencies. This is a critical limitation for those seeking to trade popular financial indices like the US100. In addition, I observe that LME operates without any valid regulatory oversight. The lack of regulation significantly heightens counterparty risk, making it especially important for traders to exercise caution when considering where to trade. Furthermore, LME does not support popular retail trading platforms such as MT4 or MT5, and instead relies on its proprietary electronic system (LMEselect), open outcry, and telephone markets.
