Based on the available information, Huatai International currently only supports deposits through traditional means such as wire transfers, bank transfers, or checks from personal accounts. The broker explicitly states that third-party deposits are not permitted. There is no mention of support for cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin or USDT, nor do they indicate any infrastructure to process digital asset transactions. This policy is consistent with what I would expect from an established, SFC-regulated broker, particularly one with a long track record in Hong Kong’s strictly regulated financial sector. Regulatory oversight in this region emphasizes robust anti-money-laundering practices and strong separation from unregulated markets, which often includes a cautious or restrictive stance toward cryptocurrencies. If your goal is to fund your trading account with digital assets, Huatai International is, at present, not a suitable platform for that purpose. Personally, I prefer to have clarity on funding routes, and I would only trust brokers who offer clear, regulated channels for deposits and withdrawals, as this significantly reduces the likelihood of operational or compliance issues. As always, I recommend confirming directly with customer service for the most current procedures before initiating any deposits, but based on my review, cryptocurrency funding is not an option.
