With Johnan Shinkin, I've noted a pronounced lack of transparency when it comes to details about their spread structure. Nowhere in their publicly listed offerings or documentation is there a clear indication of whether they provide fixed or variable spreads, which immediately raises cautious red flags for me. This absence of information makes it nearly impossible for traders like myself to adequately anticipate trading costs or evaluate potential exposure during volatile market events. From a risk perspective, the fact that Johnan Shinkin operates without specific regulatory oversight only amplifies my concerns. Reliable brokers typically disclose critical trading conditions, especially regarding how spreads might widen during periods of high market volatility, such as major news releases. Unfortunately, I could not find any reassurances or protocols from Johnan Shinkin about how they handle such scenarios. In the absence of this transparency, I have to assume that spreads could widen unpredictably in fast-moving markets, exposing clients to slippage or unexpected costs. Because I have seen firsthand the impact that uncertain spread conditions can have on trading outcomes, I always advise extreme caution when crucial information is not disclosed. For me, this lack of clarity is a key reason to seek either more disclosure directly from the institution or consider regulated alternatives where transparency and client protection are prioritized.
