From my research and careful consideration of the details available about DXtrade, I have to approach this question cautiously. DXtrade provides a proprietary platform called DXtrade CFD, which is designed for trading a variety of over-the-counter (OTC) asset classes, including forex, contracts for difference (CFDs), and cryptocurrencies. CFDs are a broad product category, and in the market, this often includes not only indices and currencies but also commonly traded commodities such as Gold (XAU/USD) and Crude Oil. However, while the platform is technically capable of supporting these asset classes, it’s essential to clarify that DXtrade itself is not a traditional broker for retail traders. Rather, it is primarily a software vendor that supplies platforms and technology to brokers and proprietary trading firms. The available demo account is for brokers and prop firms to evaluate the software, not for individual traders to use for personal trading. Just as importantly, DXtrade is not regulated and has only been operational for about 1-2 years, which, in my opinion, significantly elevates the risk for anyone considering trading through firms using this technology. Without oversight from a recognized financial regulatory body, asset availability and client fund protections can’t be assured. Therefore, while the DXtrade platform has the technical infrastructure to theoretically support trading Gold and Crude Oil CFDs, whether you can actually trade these depends entirely on the broker or prop firm implementing the DXtrade platform—not DXtrade itself. Given these facts, my personal stance is to be extremely cautious. When considering commodity trading—including Gold (XAU/USD) and Crude Oil—I always prioritize established, regulated brokers who offer full asset transparency and client safeguards. Without clear regulatory status and direct access as a retail client, I would not commit funds or rely on the asset list promised by any unregulated platform provider. Always verify directly with the licensed broker using the DXtrade platform regarding supported instruments before even considering engagement.
