This aspect initially gave me some peace of mind, especially compared to brokers that tack on unexpected transaction fees, which can quickly add up if you’re an active trader. However, it’s important for me to highlight that while regular deposit and withdrawal services are generally free, there are service-specific fees for operations like stamp duties, transfer registrations, or dividend processing. These aren't common for every transaction, but they do exist and should be factored in if you expect to use such features. What raised a flag for me is the HK$20 monthly fee imposed on inactive accounts. This inactivity charge underlines the importance of actively managing your account—or at the very least, being aware of the timeline on your positions. Although I've personally found the no-fee deposit and withdrawal policy appealing, I remain cautious given that actual processing times can still vary, and the overall business scope of Metaverse Securities has received some regulatory warnings. In my view, while their basic fee policy is transparent, I advise any serious trader like myself to keep a careful eye on both disclosed and circumstance-specific charges before funding an account.
