As a trader who relies heavily on clear, transparent trading conditions, I approach brokers like GPB FS with caution when key information is missing. From what I’ve gathered, GPB FS is a Cyprus-based broker regulated by CySEC with over 15 years in the business, which does speak to a certain level of legitimacy and operational experience. However, the lack of specifics about spread offerings—whether fixed or variable—is a significant gap for me. Without this detail, I’m unable to assess how cost-effective or suitable their services would be, especially during periods of high volatility. In my experience, most market makers, like GPB FS, usually provide variable spreads that can widen substantially during volatile market conditions, such as major news releases. The reason is simple: during news events, liquidity providers and brokers often adjust spread levels to manage heightened risk and uncertainty. But since GPB FS does not disclose any information regarding their spreads, I simply cannot verify whether their spreads remain stable or experience extreme widening during these crucial moments. This lack of transparency is a red flag for me because I rely on consistency and foreseeability in trading costs to mitigate unnecessary risk. For fellow traders seeking predictability, this uncertainty makes it hard to plan or scale positions around news events when using GPB FS. Personally, I would hesitate to commit significant funds without more explicit and reliable details on their spread structure and historical performance in volatile conditions. While the CySEC regulation offers some peace of mind, the absence of key trading parameters is a critical shortcoming from my perspective.
