From my own deep-dive into Velocity Trade, I found that their fee structure is unfortunately not transparent, and this lack of clarity is a recurring concern for me as someone who values knowing all potential costs before committing funds. On other brokers, commission and spread details are usually easy to locate, but with Velocity Trade, I couldn't find straightforward, published information about whether they specifically charge a commission per lot on ECN or raw spread accounts. A few notes from my experience and research: user feedback highlighted that spreads—such as the 3 pips cited on EUR/USD—are wider than industry averages. Such wide spreads sometimes indicate an all-inclusive pricing model with no separate commission, but this is merely a possible inference rather than a declarative fact. The absence of prominent, documented commission rates for ECN or raw accounts makes it impossible for me to confirm their fee structure with confidence. For me, this lack of fee transparency introduced uncertainty and would be a reason to proceed with caution or to directly contact the broker’s support for written confirmation on commissions. When trading under regulated jurisdictions like ASIC or FCA, one expects a higher degree of clarity, but in Velocity’s case, this aspect seems lacking from the available public information. As a conservative trader, I always recommend getting full written fee disclosures before opening any live account.
