Based on my direct experience reviewing Derayah, one thing that immediately stands out is the absence of conventional forex or CFD account types as found with most global brokers. Instead, the main options presented are the Derayah Platform and Derayah Global Platform, both of which aim to provide access to stocks, bonds (including Islamic Sukuk), futures, and options. For me, as a trader accustomed to multi-asset and leveraged accounts, this was a critical distinction and influenced how I evaluated their offering for my own trading needs. I want to emphasize that neither platform supports forex, commodities, mutual funds, ETFs, or cryptocurrencies. The Derayah Platform seems intended for regional markets, specifically the Saudi Stock Exchange and affiliated products, while the Global Platform offers connectivity to international equities and select derivatives like options and futures in U.S. markets. From a practical standpoint, this means that, unlike with other brokers, I do not have the flexibility to trade currency pairs or diversify into various asset classes from a single account. Additionally, there are no published differences regarding leverage, spreads, or minimum deposits, points which I always consider before opening an account. Transparency on costs is limited, though I did note that stock trading fees are relatively straightforward—a percentage of trade value for Saudi stocks, and per-contract charges for options. Crucially, because Derayah is unregulated by recognized financial authorities, I personally exercise additional caution regarding client fund protection and dispute resolution. In summary, the main comparison between account types at Derayah is centered on market access (regional vs. global), but both operate with notable limitations and lack the oversight I expect as standard within the industry.
