However, it's important to remain cautious, as banks or intermediary institutions involved in the process may impose their own charges depending on the method and location of the transfer. Personally, I consider indirect costs like these when estimating the total expense of investing because the cumulative effect of third-party charges can be significant, especially for frequent or sizable transactions. For me, the absence of direct fees from Fidelity is beneficial, but I always review the payment route to anticipate any external costs that might impact my overall returns. To avoid surprises, I make a habit of confirming fee structures with my own bank before making substantial deposits or withdrawals.
