As an independent forex trader, I always prioritize verifying basic trading conditions—such as spreads—before considering any broker for live trading. In the case of RBCCM, I encountered a significant issue: I could not access concrete, official data regarding their EUR/USD spread. This absence of transparent, up-to-date information immediately raises a red flag for me, especially since spreads are a core aspect of trading costs and directly affect long-term profitability. When a broker’s typical spreads are neither clearly outlined nor consistently reported through reliable channels, I personally find it challenging to assess the real trading costs. It also makes it difficult to compare RBCCM fairly against other brokers with well-documented fee structures. In forex trading, clarity and transparency in core metrics like spreads are essential for making informed decisions and managing risk. Until I can confirm RBCCM's spread offerings for EUR/USD through verifiable sources, I would proceed with great caution. For me, this lack of clear disclosure is a serious limitation, and I would not commit funds without clearer, independently confirmed details about their standard account conditions.
